An eastern Pennsylvania manufacturer of hardwood flooring plans to purchase the assets of a nearby counterpart after receiving approval from a bankruptcy court.

Mountville-based AHF Products said the addition of Lancaster-based Armstrong Flooring Inc. would strengthen its commercial business as well as bolster its position in the resilient flooring market. It also marks a vital step in its growth strategy, company officials said.

The deal includes three manufacturing facilities located in Lancaster, Beach Creek, Pennsylvania, and Kankakee, Illinois. AHF's U.S. manufacturing footprint is set to grow to 10 plants, which would increase its workforce, logistical capabilities, and production efficiency while insulating the company against volatile costs and tariffs.

AHF President and CEO Brian Carson said the company's tactical acquisitions are key to offering industry-leading commercial and residential products to its customers. "That is, and will continue to be, our strategy moving forward," he said.

The deal, reportedly valued at $107 million, is expected to close in the third quarter of the year, subject to closing conditions.

AHF sells residential flooring across the U.S. under the Autograph, Bruce, Capella, Emily Morrow Home, Hartco, Hearthwood, HomerWood, LM Flooring, Raintree, Robbins, and tmbr brands.
