My neighbour refused to fix our adjoining fence so I did it myself and got a side of revenge

A MAN managed to get sweet revenge on his neighbour after they refused to fix an adjoining fence.

The TikTok user known as The Desi Chef went on the social media site to tell his 16,000 followers just how he did it in a post titled "I have the worst neighbours in the world".

He wrote: "When you have the worst neighbours. Her fence broke into my garden. She refused to fix it.

"I showed her planning permission and she disagreed. So I went and painted her garden furniture."

In another caption he added: "Did it myself for £16.99 and my builder quoted £800."

After a quick tour around of her overgrown garden, The Desi Chef is then seen spray painting the rebuilt fence.

At the end of the short clip he writes: "Me: Painting her furniture using overspray" and adds three laughing emojis.

Overspray is caused by the mist that is created when spray painting a surface.

The footage obviously hit a nerve with many as it has now been viewed around 383,500 times, notching up some 7,300 likes and more than 300 comments.

Many online comments backed the TikToker for his actions, although not everyone agreed.

One person wrote: "Love this kind of behaviour. It's so allowed!!"

Another said: "My neighbour did this it was a mess. They wouldn't fix so we had to. A week later they take the rest down to match what I’d put in."

A third: "I get that you want a nice garden and fencing. Great job."

Others though speculated that the neighbour simply couldn't afford to get the fence repaired.

In a reply to one commentator, he wrote: "She clearly did… as she had her bathroom done next."

Elsewhere, a man who was so sick and tired of his annoying neighbours he built a fence on top of his own garden fence to block them out.

In another dispute over a garden fence, a neighbour decided to take revenge on the couple next door who complained about her fence.

A legal expert has also revealed how you can easily find out who owns your garden fence and who is responsible for it.
